# MERXI Documentation Standard

## Preserved identity

The existing Wave-M master and Azure #145BFF are unchanged. Use the original SVG
files from the logo library. Warm White remains the primary canvas. Gold denotes
earned value; Orange denotes event energy; Aqua is reserved for verified live state.

Identity and Foundations use dedicated, indexable chapter pages. The full
`/standards` reference and its original anchors remain available. Each chapter has
a title, description, version, examples, constraints and adjacent-chapter links.
The desktop sidebar and mobile navigation share one content registry.

## Documentation versus product typography

The documentation layer is not the product UI or a campaign canvas. Do not apply
96 px campaign headlines to reference pages.

Keep prose approximately 60–75 Latin characters per line. Use sentence case.
Chinese and Korean use native families, zero tracking and no case transform.
The `lang` attribute follows the nearest content boundary, including nested changes.

## Geometry

- Header: 72 px. Desktop documentation sidebar: 232 px.
- Sidebar switches to mobile navigation at 960 px.
- Documentation content: maximum 1120 px; desktop insets 24–64 px, mobile 20 px.
- 4 px baseline. Group gap 16–24 px; section space 32–48 px.
- Reference cards use an 8 px radius and a 1 px boundary. Avoid theatrical shadows.
- Dense comparison tables may scroll within their labeled region; the page must not.
- Numeric values must not be ellipsized. Reflow cards before shrinking figures.

## Gradients

Four recipes: Pearl field, Value metal, Event energy and Live signal. Every recipe
uses 105° and OKLab interpolation. Gradient text is not permitted. Place essential
copy on a solid surface; keep amounts and primary actions on solid semantic fields.
Use one expressive family per composition. No glow, ornamental rings or decorative
motion. The primary logo is never filled with a gradient.

## Data and language

- Decimal odds are not probability. Payout is not profit.
- 100.00 USDT stake at 1.86 decimal odds gives 186.00 USDT potential payout including
  stake; 86.00 USDT potential profit before fees or adjustments.
- A change from 60.8% to 64.0% is +3.2 pp.
- Missing data uses an em dash, never a fabricated zero.
- Resolved means the event outcome is established; Settled means settlement is complete.
- Financial color convention is explicit. Set `data-financial-convention="red-up"`
  when appropriate; a change of language must not silently change financial semantics.
- All example market data in this brand site is simulated and non-transactional.

## Interaction and access

Search supports keyboard navigation, Enter to open and Escape to dismiss. Focus
returns to the search trigger. Use a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content
link. Mobile navigation must close after selection. Respect reduced motion.
Test at 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1440 CSS px. Keep live chart controls, data tables,
source labels and state information intact when changing the documentation shell.

## Version compatibility

Brand site 2.0 uses product tokens 1.5.1. Product dimensions and primary palette are
unchanged from 1.5.0. The patch corrects locale selection and financial-convention
behavior. Documentation geometry is a separate layer and is not a product redesign.
